Every now and then you need to clean out some old ‘stuff’ to give space and energy for the new to grow. Since we are promoted for taking initiatives, being innovative and deliver results, over time old habits and structures piles up under carpets and in the corners of an organization. These are no longer useful but they are just there. One of my old favourite examples of initiatives to unleash capacity is Project Kafka, where the Public Administration in Belgium simplified and reduced the administrative burden on companies by 25% over 2 years time. Which also meant reducing administrative costs by 1,23 billion euro.
What old habits and strucutures could you remove to unleash your capacity and potential?
